Jim Myers is a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert™, and a real estate broker with Keller Williams Puget Sound serving King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties. He has specialized training in effectively serving the needs of divorcing couples and their attorneys by accurately establishing value, creating a trusting yet neutral working relationship with the divorcing couples in low-to-high conflict cases with real property.

Jim is an established and proven real estate expert who is well regarded by his peers and has an extensive sales record having closed over 2,000 residential transactions in his 32 years in the business. He was the designated broker/owner of a RE/MAX franchise for five years. In addition, he has an extensive background working with and representing government programs and the bankruptcy court on real estate matters:

King County Home Ownership Program: Jim developed and ran the King County Home Ownership Program for King County providing real estate and mortgage services to King County employees through their Making Life Easier program. He managed the program and was the designated real estate broker for all King County Employees. He created and presented both promotional and educational classes for up to 300 attendees at a time.
King County Narcotics Taskforce: Jim worked with King County’s Prosecutor and Sheriff’s offices as their designated real estate broker assisting detectives and prosecutors in the evaluation of drug seizure homes to be sold by the task force.
Bankruptcy Court Trustee: Jim represented one of Washington’s Bankruptcy Court Trustees evaluating bankruptcy homes for sale. The evaluation included accurately estimating the value of the property and working through the many title issues with the Trustee so the houses could be closed. Most of those sales were short sales which required ongoing negotiations with the underlying lien holders typically for many months, while holding the transactions together with very fidgety and scared sellers, buyers, and buyer’s agents.
